Supply chain management focuses on overseeing the flow of goods and services from suppliers to consumers. It involves multiple stages such as procurement, storage, transportation, and distribution, and requires a diverse set of skills including supply and demand forecasting, operations and financial planning, negotiation, as well as technical and IT expertise.

The Logistics and Supply Chain Management diploma program, delivered fully online, is designed to prepare students to succeed and advance in this dynamic field. This industry is one of the largest employment sectors in Canada, with close to one million people working in supply chain–related occupations. As global trade and logistics continue to expand, supply chain management is expected to grow steadily, creating tens of thousands of new job opportunities each year.

Supply Chain Canada
This program has been approved for advanced standing toward the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP™) designation.

Supply Chain Canada and Bright Horizon Academy are committed to supporting graduates of the Supply Chain Management program throughout their careers, helping them remain at the forefront of supply chain practices, enhance organizational performance, and contribute to the ongoing transformation of supply chain systems across Canada.

To support this goal, an agreement has been established to provide an accelerated pathway for graduates of the program who achieve a minimum grade of 70% and have completed the program within the past two years. Eligible graduates may receive advanced standing toward the following SCMP academic components:

• Module 2: Procurement and Supply Management
• Module 3: Logistics and Transportation
• Module 4: Operations and Process Management
• Workshop 2: Negotiation Skills

In addition to the SCMP academic coursework, candidates must successfully complete the SCMP Leadership Residency and the National Case Study Final Examination. All SCMP candidates must also meet the three-year work experience requirement, which may include employment, internships, or co-op placements.

This program is approved by the Registrar of the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training.
