Bright Horizon Academy stands out among massage therapy schools for its strong commitment to student success. The Massage Therapy diploma program prepares students to become skilled, well-compensated professionals in the healthcare industry, working in private clinics, medical and rehabilitation centres, hospitals, spas, fitness facilities, or as self-employed massage therapists.

This diploma program teaches essential massage therapy skills such as hydrotherapy, palpation, remedial exercise, and patient assessment. Students learn a variety of massage treatment techniques, along with important medical subjects including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology. Courses also address industry ethics and professional communication skills.

A supervised clinical placement allows students to apply their learning in a real-world environment under the guidance of a registered massage therapist. Graduates are encouraged to register with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and are eligible to sit for the CMTO certification examinations, including the Multiple Choice Questionnaire (MCQ) and the Objective Structured Clinical Evaluation (OSCE), to obtain registration and practice as registered massage therapists.
